Indian Head Massage is a type of massage carried out with the client sitting fully clothed in an ordinary straight-backed chair. It is characterised by brisk rubbing and kneading techniques over the head, neck, shoulders and, if desired, the arms and face can be incorporated. It is particularly effective for head and neck tension and for tension headaches.
